1. When can I install Stem into all my conference rooms?
Products will begin shipping Q1 2020! We are taking the time to fine tune and perfect the ecosystem so you can have the best experience possible. Your belated holiday gift is just around the corner!
2. These products look expensive. Are they going to cost me an arm and a leg?
Nope, you can keep all of your limbs! Pricing is as follows:
- Hub: $350.00
- Table: $650.00
- Control: $1,000.00
- Wall: $1,100.00
- Ceiling: $2,500.00
*prices are in USD, arms, legs, or first-born children will not be acceptable payment methods.
3. How do I purchase Stem Audio products?
You can purchase the Stem solution either online or through one of our preferred dealers. There will also be an option for pre-orders later in the quarter so stay tuned! For more information, all you need to do is email@example.com and we can point you in the right direction.
4. How much does the Stem ecosystem software cost per month?
Just for you, it’s free ?. The software that supports the ecosystem is comprised of several tools we provide that make the hardware even more powerful! If you want to learn more, click here.
5. Do I need Stem Control to access the ecosystem software platform?
Nope! Stem’s software is hosted within the products themselves. All you need to do is simply access the devices via the network they are running on. You can do this by either using our Control, or any iOS, Android, or Windows devices. You can even access the platform through a web browser as the platform supports HTML. Keep reading to hear about options for 3rd party controllers!
6. Where does all the data “sit”? Is it cloud-based, on your server, or on the devices?
The data for the Stem ecosystem is stored on the devices and is distributed throughout the Stem hardware on your network. You can access any Stem product via any point of the ecosystem.
7. Can your ecosystem integrate with Crestron/AMX/Extron?
The ecosystem platform will integrate through our API. There will be documentation available to show all of the essential commands and protocols to operate and communicate with the ecosystem. Stay tuned to hear more about 3rd party controllers as well!
8. How are the products connected to one another?
The products are not physically connected to one another, they are individually connected to the network through an ethernet connection. Just connect each device to the network and through our software, multiple devices can be paired to work together!
9. How do I connect the hub to other products?
Hub has connectivity options for USB, Ethernet, Dante, SIP, and line level balanced external speakers. The Hub is intended to “represent” all the products in a room when you have multiple units installed. It’s the only thing you need to communicate with if you use it in a room. If you only have one Stem product in a space, you don’t need the Hub! The Hub only communicates with other Stem products or partner products that are officially Stem compatible.
10. When can we hear the products?
Remote demos will be available in Q4 2019 with physical demos offered at showrooms all over the world by Q1 2020. If you have any recommendations or requests of places where you would like to see a showroom firstname.lastname@example.org.
